), secretary of Aaron, governor of Baaspracania, on the Armenian frontier, was sent by the emperor Constantine X. Monomachus (apparently about A. D. 1049) to the sultan of the Seljukian Turks, to negotiate the release of the Byzantine general, Liparites, who had been taken in war. (Cedren. Compend.
