Hege'sias

2. HEGESIAS (called Hegesinus by Photius, Phot. Bibl. 239. p. 319, ed. Bekker), a native of Salamis, supposed by some to have been the author of the Cyprian poem, which, on better authority, is ascribed to Stasinus. (Athen. 15.682 e.; Fabric. Bibl. Graec. vol. i. p. 382.)
