7. C. Julius Vop., L. F. N., JULUS, grandson of No. 3, consular tribune in B. C. 408, with two colleagues, and again in B. C. 405, with five colleagues. In the former year he and his colleague, Cornelius Cossus, vehemently opposed the nomination of a dictator; and in the latter year he took part with his colleagues in the commencement of the siege of Veii. (Liv. 4.56, 61; Diod. 13.104, 14.17.) He was censor in B. C. 393, and died in his year of office. (Liv. 5.31, 9.34; Plut. Camill. 14.)
