2. Of ARABISSUS, in Cappadocia, of which town he was bishop, an ecclesiastical writer of uncertain date. Photius has noticed two of his works:--1. Εἰς τὴν κτίσιν λόγος, Sermo de Crealione ; and, 2. Εἰς τὸν Λάζαρον, De Lazaro ; and gives a long extract from the former, and a shorter extract from the latter. (Photius, Phot. Bibl. 272; Cave, Hist. Litt. vol. i. p. 551; Fabric. Bibl.
