Sabinus, a man of consular rank, was sent against the Dacians in the reign of Domitian, and perished in the expedition. (Eutrop. 7.23

The name, however, does not occur in any of the consular fasti, whence some have proposed to read Appius, instead of Oppius in Eutropius and Suetonius.
