25. SCHOLARIUS, styled also HIEROMONACHUS, Συμεὼν ἱερομόναχος ὁ σχολάριος
; a monk of the Byzantine empire, whose date is not known, except that he lived about or after the close of the eighth century.
He composed a work entitled Κανόνες
, Syntagma Canonum,
