2. Among the artists of the age of the Antonines, Müller mentions, on the authority of Appuleius (de Magia, p. 66, ed. Bipont.), a skilful wood-carver, named Saturninus, of Oea, in Africa. (Miller, Archäol. d. Kunst, § 204, n. 5.)
