Saufeius

1. C. Saufeius, quaestor in B. C. 100, was one of the partisans of Saturninus, took refuge with him in the capitol, and was slain along with his leader, when they were obliged to surrender to Marius. (Cic. pro C. Rabir. 7 ; Appian, App. BC 1.32.) [SATURNINUS, p. 724.]
