（Θεομήστωρ), a Samian, son of Androdamas, commanded a vessel in the Persian fleet at Salamis (B. C. 480), and for his services in that battle was made tyrant of Samos by Xerxes. (Hdt. 8.85, 9.90.) [E.E]
