Sillax
(
Σίλλαξ), a painter, of Rheginm, flourished about B. C. 500, since he was mentioned by Simonides and Epicharmus.
He adorned with his paintings the Polemarchian portico (
τὴν πολεμάρχειον στοάν) at Phlius. (Polemo, apud
