Vinicia'nus, A'nnius

was accused of treason (majestas) together with his father Annius Pollio, towards the latter end of Nero's reign, but was not brought to trial. He afterwards conspired with Camillus Scribonianus against the emperor Claudius, and, when the conspiracy was detected, put an end to his own life. (Tac. Ann. 6.9; D. C. 60.14.)
