Sperryville, Thursday, August 7, 1862.
Out of one hundred and twenty citizens of Sperryville who have taken the oath of allegiance within the past two days, there are fifty who cannot write their names. The poor whites as a rule are loyal, and but few of them will be sent South.--N. Y. Tribune, August 8.
