Bunsby Russell on Bull Run.--Bunsby Russell, in writing his squib to the Times,

Tells the tale of the flight, but no word of the fight;
     How is it — all over the inquiry chimes--
Only one-half the story fell under his sight?
     But a reason exists why the battle's chief brunt
Brought no sight to his eye, and no sound to his ear,--
     A strict army rule held him back from the front,
For the old women always are kept in the rear.
