Effects of the Draft in Richmond.--The Dispatch of April fourteenth says: During our peregrinations yesterday, on Broad and Main streets, we noticed that several of the stores were closed, and the following card posted on the doors: “Gone with the militia — will return when the war is at an end. By order of John Letcher.”
The suspensions appeared to be general among the druggists, as we noticed but one opened for business.
