Cotton-seed Oil.

Manufactured from seeds of the cotton-plant in the Southern States, which were formerly a waste product. The manufacture began in the year 1876, and the product for the first year was 3,316,000 gallons. Ten years later it was over 40,000,000 gallons, of which 30 per cent. was exported. The production of cotton-seed oil and by-products of the same are increasing proportionately to the amount of cotton grown each year.
