Sunderland, Le Roy 1802-1885

Author; born in Exeter, R. I., May 18, 1802; entered the ministry of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1823; became a strong abolitionist and an opponent of Christianity. He was the author of History of the United States; Appeal on the subject of slavery; Testimony of God against slavery; Anti-slavery manual; Mormonism exposed, etc. He died in Quincy, Mass., May 15, 1885.
