beneath, appears that of Henry Blake McLellan, who died in 1833, at the age of 22, to which the inscription adds that he was “graduated at Harvard University in 1829, commenced the study of divinity at Andover, spent two years at the University of Edinburg, and on the continent of Europe, in the completion of his Studies.” He returned home, but a fever closed his life in three months afterwards. The writer of the article on Mount Auburn (already cited) in the Quarterly Observer,1 alludes to him in these feeling terms:--

There is one at rest in his tomb in this enclosure,
