Even while Mansfield was speaking,
the press of London gave to the world a very sensible production, showing the equity and practicability of a more equal representation throughout the whole British dominions;1 and also a scheme2 for a general parliament, to which every part of the British dominions should send one member for every twenty thousand of its inhabitants.
