(TA voce وَسَجَ, as on the authority of En-Nadr and As.) -A2- Also Down; syn. زَغَبٌ; (M, K;) and so ↓ دَبَبَانٌ , (K,) and ↓ دَبَّةٌ : (Kr. M:) or down (T, S) of the face, (S,) or upon the face; (T;) and so ↓ دَبَّةٌ , (K,) of which the pl. [or coll. gen. n.] is ↓ دَبٌّ ; (M, K;) accord. to Kr, who assigns to it the former meaning, and says that ↓ دَبَّةٌ is syn. with زَغَبٌ, not that it is syn. with زَغَبَةٌ: (M:) or دَبَبٌ signifies hair upon the face of a woman: (TA:) or, as also ↓ دَبَبَانٌ , much hair (M, K) and وَبَر [or camel's fur]: (M:) or both these words signify hair upon the جَبِين [or part above the temple] of a woman.
