مَزْحَلٌ ذ an inf. n. of زَحَلَ. (S, TA.) ― -b2- And also A place to which one removes, withdraws, or retires far away. (S, TA.) Ibráheem Ibn-Kuneyf En-Nebhánee says, “ وَمَا لِا@مْرِئٍ عَمَّا قَضَى ا@للّٰهُ مَزْحَلُ
” i. e. And there is not, for a man, a place to which to go far away from that which God has decreed. (Ham p. 125.) And one says, إِِنَّ لِى عِنْدَكَ لَمَزْحَلًا, meaning مُنْتَدَحًا [i. e. Verily there is, for me, with thee, ample scope, or freedom, or liberty]. (S, TA.)
