ضَرِبٌ ذ : see مِضْرَبٌ. ― -b2- Also (tropical:) Herbage smitten and injured by the cold, and by the wind. (TA.) And (tropical:) Herbage smitten by hoar-frost, or rime. (TA.) And أَرْضٌ ضَرِبَةٌ (tropical:) Land smitten by hoarfrost, or rime, so that its herbage is nipped, or blasted, thereby. (AZ, TA.)
