عَاصِرٌ ذ act. part. n. of 1. ― -b2- لَا أَفْعَلُهُ مَا دَامَ لِلزَّيْتِ عَاصِرٌ [I will not do it as long as there is an expresser of the oil of the olive]; i. e., ever. (S, O.) ― -b3- ↓ عَوَاصِرُ [as though pl. of عَاصِرٌ or of عَاصِرَةٌ] Three stones with which grapes are pressed so as to force out the juice, (K,) being placed one upon another. (TA.) ― -b4- عَاصِرٌ and ↓ عَصُورٌ (tropical:) One who takes of the property of his child without the latter's permission. (TA.) ― -b5- فُلَانٌ عَاصِرٌ (tropical:) Such a one is tenacious, or avaricious. (TA.)
