alphabetical letter ك ذ [The twenty-second letter of the Alphabet, called كَافٌ. It is one of the letters termed مَهْمُوسَة, or non-vocal, i. e. pronounced with the breath only, without the voice; and it also belongs to the class called شَجَرِيَّة.
