نَدًى ذ , originally, Rain: (Msb: [but generally it seems to signify dew, absolutely; or day-dew.] See a tropical usage in a verse of El-Kumeyt cited voce رِقْبَةٌ. ― -b2- نَدًى Bounty; liberality: (S, M:) a gift. (T.) ― -b3- نَدًى Moisture (S, K) of the earth; as also ↓ نَدَاوَةٌ . (S.) ― -b4- نَدًى is generally thus written: not نَدًا.
