The Chicago fugitive Slave case.

--The fugitive slave excitement in Chicago has ended as is usual in such cases. A warrant was issued for the arrest of the woman claimed as a slave, for disorderly conduct, and placed in the hands of a Deputy Sheriff. In attempting to take her from the armory to the jail, she was rescued by a negro mob, and carried off.

Jacob Clern, a German butcher of Norfolk, Va., committed suicide Tuesday night by cutting his throat.
