Valuable rubbish.

--A curious scene occurred at St. Germain-en-Laye, France, recently, at the sale of the effects of the old gentleman who was murdered by his servant about a month since, as stated at the time.--Among a quantity of clothes there was an old belt, which one of the bystanders threw aside, saying that such rubbish ought not to be sold. The auctioneer, however, thought proper to examine this apparently worthless article, and found in it bank bills and railway shares to the value of 15,000f.
