Cold lodging.

--Thomas M. Johnson, once a man of respectability, was found by the watchmen, at an early hour yesterday morning, lying in a gutter in Butchertown, where he had taken lodgings, under the singular belief that paving stories and ice afford the comforts of a bed. His irritation on being disturbed found vent in violent abuse, and he was thereupon conducted to the watch-house. The Mayor, having previously found moral suasion ineffectual, committed him to jail in default of security to keep the peace.
