--A horse, attached to Adams & Co.'s Express wagon, while standing in front of their office yesterday morning, started off and ran down the street at furious speed. A little white boy was in the wagon at the time, and his position, it may be imagined, was very perilous. No doubt he would have been killed but for the efforts of Mr. Jack Bain, who, at considerable personal risk, brought the animal to a halt.
