--The Georgia State Convention have passed an ordinance defining the crimes of treason and misprision of treason against that ‘"Republic."’ The punishment for the first named is death; and for misprision confinement and labor in the penitentiary not less than five, nor more than ten years. Concealment of any knowledge of offence of a treasonable nature is made punishable by fine and imprisonment in jail.
