The Wisconsin Legislature,

‘"inspired by such examples of patriotism"’ as are furnished by the States of Kentucky and Maryland, and ‘"ready at all times to meet fraternal advances in the spirit they are made,"’ have, without dissent, instructed the Judiciary Committee to revise the Personal Liberty Laws of the State, so as to make them in all things conform to the Constitution of the United States.
