Judge Lyons' Court.

--In this Court, during the present week, David Muldoon was tried for a felonious assault on Davis Connors; of which offence he was acquitted by the jury, who found him guilty of an unlawful assault, for which he was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment in the City Jail. Mary Shaw, tried for stealing $30 from Patrick Reynolds, was acquitted. On Thursday evening the trial of Wm. Cockston, for forgery, was commenced, and not being concluded, for the night the jury were carried to the Columbian Hotel, and for want of other accommodations were housed together in one of the large rooms over the Tobacco Exchange. The trial of Cockston was resumed before Judge Lyons yesterday, and resulted in the conviction of the prisoner. He goes to the penitentiary for two years.
