Dead.

--We regret to announce the death of our townsman, Philip Harrison, Jr., which occurred in this city on Saturday, from consumption, in the 33d year of his age. He was the son of the late well known Philip Harrison, Sr., a lawyer of the old regime. By profession a civil engineer, he had become favorably known the last few years of his life as a writer for the press, in which capacity he displayed enviable ability. Like everything human, he had his faults, but they were of the head, and not of the heart. Very few men were gifted with a more congenial disposition or friendly nature than he. Peace to his soul.
