--The Manchester Mirror learns from a private letter dated Laconia, N. H., Friday noon, that a man, woman and child, while crossing Lake Winnipesaukee with a horse and sleigh, went through the ice, and that all were drowned.
At the time of writing, the people of Laconia had just started out to recover the bodies.
These are all the particulars of the sad event that were given.
