--Mr. Clayton introduced a bill to establish an Admiralty Court at Key West.
Mr. Sharron introduced a resolution inquiring into the condition of the Custom-House at New Orleans.
Mr. Conrad introduced a communication proposing a change in the law regulating boats.
The Army bill was passed.
It was reported that 50,000 men will soon be ready for the field.

--Congress did nothing in public.
It is understood that the permanent Constitution will be completed to-night or Monday, and that a recess will follow.
The reported announcement of a Commissioner to Europe was premature.
It is believed that none will be confirmed until the Conference at Washington has been concluded.
