--On Tuesday, the 19th ult., Mrs. Costello, living near Upperville, Fauquier county, Va., was found lying dead in her yard.
Her clothes are supposed to have taken fire as she was in the act of lighting her pipe.
She was altogether alone, and not being able to extinguish the flames, ran for assistance from her son, who was working near by, but perished a short distance from the house.
