--The saying of "winter lingering in the lap of spring," was abundantly verified on yesterday; winter not only sat in the lap of spring, but clothed the latter in a snow-white robe.
Spring may cast aside "the fleecy element" to-day, but yesterday at a late hour it was falling in dead earnest.
