The Hessians still about.

The United States Army is made up, in good part, of mercenary troops of the same race that George III. employed to kill our ancestors, at the rate of ten cents a day.-- Two-thirds of the garrison of Fort Sumter are composed of these imported bloodhounds. One of these, a Sergeant of Company E, who can scarcely speak a word of English, writes a letter in a Northern paper, asserting that "the traitors and rascals open our letters in town," (Charleston.) Only think of it!--These Hessian hirelings, just like their ancestors, calling American gentlemen "traitors and rascals." The Black Republicans are fond of asking--"Have we a Government?"There is another question more pertinent-- Have we a country?
