Washington, March 19th.
--The Commissioners of the Southern Confederacy expect no answer to their official communication to the Administration for ten or twelve days. In the meantime they feel confident that there will be no collision or change of the military status in the seceded States.
They have telegraphic assurances from Montgomery
that ample arrangements have been made to avoid all trouble for the present at Fort Pickens
has been appointed Collector at Key West
There is little if any doubt that Fort Sumter
will be evacuated to-morrow.
Orders have already been sent forward to that effect.
