Careless use of fire-arms.

--In St. Louis, on Wednesday night, as a young man named Coleman was returning home at a late hour, he saw a couple of men following him, apparently with an intent to rob him. Suddenly one of the parties left his companion and hurried toward young Coleman. The latter, supposing that he was about to be attacked, discharged a pistol, which took effect, inflicting a dangerous, if not necessarily fatal, wound. Young Coleman was much shocked on discovering that he had shot a respectable young German in his father's employ.
