James River and Kanawha Canal.

--The bill for the sale of the Canal, which has already passed the House, was yesterday successful in the Senate, a few immaterial amendments having been attached by members of that body, in which the House will no doubt concur, as they do not affect the great object purposed to be accomplished by the sale, viz: the completion of the water line of communication with the Ohio river.
