Citizenship in Georgia.
--The City Attorney
has furnished the Councils of that city with his opinion of the Georgia
ordinance on the subject of citizenship.
The ordinance, as construed by him, makes all persons who resided in Georgia
at the date of its secession citizens of that State, irrespective of their former residences or birth-places.
The ordinance gives, however, to persons not born in the State
three months within which to declare themselves not subject to the authority of the State
