The Grand Dress Southern Rights Ball, announced to come off next Tuesday night, at the Old Market Hall, bids fair to eclipse anything of similar character gotten up here for a long time. Able and inferential gentlemen are enlisted in the cause, and their best efforts are being exerted to have the ball one that will long be remembered for its brilliancy.--The proceeds accruing therefrom are to be used in a way that we are sure will meet with the hearty approval of all lovers of the South and her rights. If all go who should, the flag and pole that the committee will be called upon to buy with the proceeds of the ball will be large and long.
