--Capt. Branson Dunnington's canal boat, in use by the Danville Railroad to bring freight across the river, yesterday morning ran afoul of the piles at her wharf, and the assistance of a steam-tug was necessary to pull her off, One of the negro hands fell overboard and narrowly escaped drowning.
