One thousand Volunteers en route for Virginia !

Montgomery, Ala, April 28.
--The Third Regiment of Alabama volunteers, Col. Jones M. Withers commanding, will leave to-night for Lynchburg, Virginia.

Ten full companies, consisting of one hundred men each, compose this regiment, all splendidly armed and equipped. A finer looking body of men never pulled trigger, and should the "Irrepressible" come off, they will slay the Yankee mercenaries by whole sale.

Colonel Withers is a graduate of West Point, an accomplished gentleman as well as soldier, and is the present Mayor of Mobile.
