The South not unarmed.

--A Northern exchange tells its readers that they need not rely upon the South being unarmed. This is sage advice, for just so long as we continue to pay more for guns than they are worth, the love of gold supplies them. It is nobody's business whence they come. But we could never be subjugated as long as there are ‘"paving stones"’ in Southern cities or ‘"slapstick rifles"’ among the hills and hollows of Tennessee.-- Memphis Bulletin.
