Plenty of provisions.

Our Danville correspondent furnishes the following important information:

‘ "Some of our citizens, in consequence of rumors that we would not be able to get enough bacon, sent out runners, and from the best information I have there has been bought up in the adjacent counties in North Carolina and this State between 150,000 and 200,000 lbs. as nice bacon and lard as you ever saw. We have a large quantity of corn on hand and as much flour as will be consumed, if not more. We have also the finest prospect for wheat we have had for years, and many of our farmers are planting corn in their best tobacco land. So we can furnish the army something to eat up this way."
