Schedule of Secession Ordinance.

In conformity with this schedule, the poll books are required to be headed ‘"The Ordinance of Secession,"’ and contain two columns; one headed ‘"For Ratification,"’ and the other ‘"For Rejection,"’ under which the names of those who vote for and against shall be registered. The qualified voters who may be absent from the counties or corporations of their residence on the day of election, in the military service of the State, may vote upon the Ordinance at such place or places as the commander shall designate, whether the said encampment shall be within the limits of the State or not. In reply to the inquiry of a correspondent, we do not understand that authority is given to absent voters to vote for members of the Legislature.
