Ice.

--The absence of an abundant supply of ice has not yet been felt as a serious inconvenience by our citizens. A rumor prevailed a few days since that several cargoes of the article had been captured at Aquia Creek, and would be landed for use as a legitimate prize. The rumor has not been substantiated, and it is therefore likely that we will have to put up with that already on hand. We have been requested to repeat the caution heretofore given as to the necessity of husbanding our icy resources. If used at all now, let it be done sparingly. The article will be needed very much in a short time.
