No Federal troops in North Carolina.

--The Wilmington (N. C.) Journal, of the 29th, contains the following in relation to the rumor that Federal troops had invaded the soil of the Old North State.

A report appears in some of the Virginia papers, to the effect that Federal troops had been landed on Roanoke Island, in North Carolina. There appears to be no truth in the rumor. No Federal troops have as yet been landed at any point in this State.
