A soldier shot dead.

--On Saturday night last, while a man named Brubaker, residing three miles from Lancaster, Pa., was watching his barn, to protect it from incendiaries, he saw three men enter the yard and seize a turkey and several chickens. He instantly hailed them, whereupon they ran, when he fired and one of them fell dead. He subsequently proved to be a volunteer from Camp Johnston, named Sleeper.
